Welcome to WordClash! These Terms of Service (hereinafter: TOS) and Privacy Policy govern your use of the services available on this website (the Game). Please read the following points carefully before registering.

1. Use of the Service

WordClash is an online word game that can be played with or without registration (as a Guest). Limited, once-a-day access to the official daily puzzle and participation in the leaderboards are available exclusively to registered users.

The service is completely free to use. The developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Game's functionality without prior notice.

2. Registration and Account Protection

A valid email address and password are required for registration.
Keeping your password secure is your responsibility. Never share your login credentials with others!
We reserve the right to delete usernames that are inappropriate, vulgar, or offensive without prior notice.

3. Fair Play

The Game maintains a competitive daily leaderboard. The use of any assistance programs, bots, external scripts, or exploits that provide an unfair advantage over other players is strictly forbidden and may result in the immediate ban of the account.

4. Privacy Policy

We handle your personal data confidentially, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations (GDPR). The collected data includes:

Email address: Used exclusively for account authentication and password resets. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails or share your address with third parties.
Password: Stored securely using hashing algorithms. Your password cannot be decrypted or read by system administrators.
Game Statistics: We record matches played, win rate, and daily puzzle results to compile the leaderboards. Your game results may be displayed publicly under your Username on the leaderboards.

5. Cookie Policy

To ensure smooth operation and to maintain your login session, we store tokens (session data) and LocalStorage data in your browser. These are strictly necessary for the Game to function; we do not use advertising or tracking cookies provided by third parties.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

The Game is operated as a hobby project on an "AS-IS" basis. The Operator makes no warranties regarding the uninterrupted, 100% availability of the Service, or against the accidental loss of data (e.g., stats, accounts).
